Banda
A nursery, woven
by the same hands
for three generations.
Spice Islands Wicker began in a shaded courtyard on Banda — the original spice islands — where Wira's grandmother taught him to weave by the rhythm of cinnamon drying overhead. Today, a small studio of nineteen makers carries that pattern forward, into rooms an ocean away.
We work slowly. We ship in what compost can eat. And we never forget what these pieces are for: a child who is already enough, in a room that grows with them.
